Fandom's response to her back in the day was rather tepid at best but I can't help but wonder:

Last I heard (Otakon 2007) was that she was bartending in New York and carrying the addict look rather well. The source had worked with her prior, but also set off a few of my bullshit alarms so take it as you will.

Bartending in NY is something I could see her doing. As for the addict look, it might just be middle age closing in.
