This weekend is shaping up to be crazy for me, but a good kind of crazy.

Friday after work: Had to evict some cats that were living underneath my home. Unlike with [livejournal.com profile] ladys, mine were much more grown and more skittish. Had to lure them out using an open can of tuna, dribbling some of the water on the ground for good measure. There was a possum that was sleeping underneath my shed that woke up to see what all the fuss was about, but decided that it was far better to go back to sleep than to mess with half a dozen cats and a human over some tuna-flavored water. So, after I managed to shoo away all the cats (hopefully that was all of them), I covered up the hole that they used as a door.

Saturday: Busy! Zipped out to get a part to properly finish [livejournal.com profile] yamikochan's radio installation, then went to a nearby computer show where BestBuy was unloading some of their older hardware and scored a new external enclosure, saw some F-22s zipping through the air doing some fancy acrobatics much to the delight of HUNDREDS of people that had pulled off into a parking lot specifically to watch, went to not one but two Lego stores, had dinner, bought some anime (Najica: Blitz Tactics set), and topped it all off with some minor grocery shopping. I am now just getting home after almost 11 hours of action. Oof.

Sunday looks like I'll be at the AUSA staff meeting, or at least part of it. [livejournal.com profile] reshana_dayan, I hope you do well tomorrow at the Comic Book thing. Next time I'll scrounge up my for-sale loot as well.

Something I did today was went through some of the cds that I keep handy while driving, and I put in one a harvest cd, the kind where I plop on a bunch of random songs that I find, then write the date on the cd. Well, the date was from two years ago, so I figured I'd probably find something. I'm listening along, and then a song comes on, very unfamiliar but very good. I end up putting it on repeat. And I'm scratching my head on where in hell did I find it. Then I get home and find out what it is, and now I'm wondering why the last time I played it on this was almost two years ago? In case you're wondering, this is what I'm talking about. This is becoming a more and more common occurence, especially since my iTunes library will soon be OVER 9000.

The aluminum panel that I fought so hard to put back on was blown off by the wind, so all those cats probably wasted no time in going back in. Back to square one. Good thing I got more tuna at the store. But I'm all worn out now, so I'm done for the evening.

Anime North is next weekend, and I'm picking up stuff for AnimeDude. Can you please give me your address again, so I can send you the stuff to send to Sammykins? Also tell me what anime or manga I can add to the shipment for your trouble.
