psipsySometime about 2 years ago give or take a couple days I was at AWA. Well, not this time. There's fewer and fewer people that I know that are going to that. I could still go, leave right now and get there sometime late this evening but nah. Instead with this weekend being one of The Last Decent Weekends Of the Year, I shall use it for something else other than going to an anime convention or cleaning. Thus the weekend begins!
Due to a chance event at a grocery store, and a surprise pizza appearance, my lunch at work has cost me a grand total of about $4.50 for the week. Score.
Since my "new" Powerbook is no longer under any kind of warranty, any future repairs are entirely on me. Now it needs a new fan. The price of the part isn't the issue. Installing the part isn't the issue. What the issue is for me is that most of what's available is "refurbished" fans. I've had more than enough experience with these little fans of all sizes to know when they go bad, there's no saving them. No, if I'm going to gut my laptop to put in a new fan, I want it to be just that, a NEW fan, even if I gotta shell out the $40 for a genuinely new one.
Uhhh.... What else...... Ok, here have some upbeat music. Like it, you will. It's upbeat! And here's another one, for when you gotta party for the sake of partying. You can never have too much upbeat music in your musical diet. Plus it's something that I think a lot of people could really use lately. So play 'em loud and play 'em often.
