psipsySo yeah, I now have the whole place to myself and I fully intend on keeping it that way for the time being. As such I spent some time bringing more stuff home from storage. I was able to get a large quantity of boxes and tubs back here in three trips which surprised me; I thought it was going to require about ten just to get to the point I'm at now. It'll probably end up being a total of ten because what's left is my old bike so that I can give it to a coworker for his kids to work on/use for parts/curse at, ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
aichan95's old catalytic converter (which I fully intend to keep; it only got replaced because the pipe that it welded itself to was what went bad), and a large pile of empty cardboard boxes. I might just leave the empty boxes there and eat the cleaning fee.
Balticon: For someone whose main focus is anime, I sure had fun at a sci-fi convention. Especially with my friend and his trophy hubcap. He'd be wearing regular clothes, holding the hubcap, and multiple people will ask him what his costume is supposed to be. "It's not a costume, it's a hubcap." That was last year and this year. For comparison sakes, he took it to Otakon and nobody asked; it was considered par for the course. Oh yes, and room parties. Anime conventions have a hell of a time keeping any parties going. At Balticon, in one hallway there were about 6 open-door parties going on, all in a cluster.
yamikochan might not need a new compressor after all? But the part I suspect needs replaced isn't going to be easy to get to either. Better than a new compressor though.
I think I shall construct something to simplify access to my comic books, now that they're home where they belong. At least the ones I don't plan to sell which is about half.
