psipsyWeek of the Weirdshift is done. I end up getting a 4-day weekend out of it, of which half will be rainy and thus used for sleeping. Fine by me. I have a hunch that I'll be snoozing a bit at anime club, which has been par for the course recently.
Another Get!: Awhile ago I had mentioned the collection boxes that we have at work for folks to drop off old rechargeable batteries for recycling, and how I was able to score a spare battery for my phone. Well, it pays to stick my nose there once in awhile, as I found another couple spare batteries. That brings my total of spares to about three now, which should easily last me until I get a new phone altogether in another year or two. (No I'm not getting an iPhone just yet. I think those need a couple more years to straighten out, as was the case with the iPod.)
Bought a new fan for my computer, but as it turns out, it can't accomodate the new fan. Meh, I was going to get a larger case anyway.
Oh yes, and this: It's like Dr. Demento's basement. I know I posted this link a couple years ago, but they have updated since then and most of you have probably forgotten about it anyway, or are just now tuning in. If you've ever wanted a cover of "Mambo #5" as sung by smurfs in Finnish, that's the place.
