Y'know, I never really grew up. I don't think anyone expected me to. Nobody asked, so I didn't bother.

Probably never will.

Growing up is not on my agenda either.

American maturation

Hey, as long as you're happier than the average bear.
My own opinion is that you are just honest and open about never growing up. My 75 years of experience tells me that some 95%, maybe more, of American males never really grow up. The gun rights thing, alone, is one my main exhibits, but there are too many others to enumerate.

I don't want to grow up, even if people ask me to.

Depends on how you define "growing up". Maturing enough to have thoughts like this is good. but if it means losing your sense of fun and playfulness... screw it :

Yep, and how much of that 95% think they've grown up? Too many.

Cuz if you did, then you wouldn't be a Toys 'R Us kid.

Yeah, I've heard it's overrated.

Now that you mention it, yeah. Remember when their stores were huge and had everything?

A shadow of its former self, I say.

Most of the ones around here have taken out alot of the toys to add a section for baby clothes. And the video game section has to be so big it engulfs the action figures too.

I remember when they first did that with the baby clothes. I thought it was sacrilege.

They have stores for baby clothes already!

I know! And most of the time when someone has/is about to have a baby, family members usually come out of the woodwork with offerings of baby clothes, so it's even more perplexing.

True. I don't know what the hell they are thinking.
