ok no more questions this week

psipsyLast week has seen me working long-ass shifts at work. I get home after one of those, and run a load of laundry, only to discover my dryer has completely conked out. After discovering why I can't get it to run, it's decided that cursing at a burnt control board or swatting the golden butterflies fluttering around it isn't going to dry my clothes, so I take my soggy clothes and a manga to a small laundromat a few miles away so that the sooner they dry the sooner I can get back to sleep.
Normally I'd simply fix the board by replacing the affected components, but it's hard to tell what it was when it's completely charred. I suppose once I get a new board I can use that to figure out what fried and thus have a spare board, if nothing else beyond the obvious fried.
Most of my weekend was spent sleeping, and I didn't miss much on account of all the rain. Weirdshift starting this evening. And I think I'm going to aim for after Labor Day for my vacation. Still warm but less crazy. I got enough crazy as it is.
Maybe I'll have my vacation on Rokkenjima Island!
