psipsyIn after Christmas stuff. Not much else for me to say about that. It wasn't bad, it was just kinda "there".
And here it goes again: That big year-end cleanup I (attempt) to do towards the end of each year. It's not that I don't make any progress, because I do, it's that the end results aren't as comprehensive as I'd like. Nevertheless, it's important that I go this alone, no matter how many memories I encounter.
Starting off with the obvious, things like laundry, dishes, taking out straight-up trash, that sort of thing. But before I could begin any of that, the prerequisite task was to make sure my big-dog-ass master playlist was all reconciled and stuff. Making sure there weren't any dead links out of something like 12k music files (plus another 5k on the PC, plus the countless files I haven't even added to either system yet). It's easier on the PowerBook, as there's an Applescript that goes through and makes a list of all the dead links and then I just go and find them. But! That's done now, and by now, most of the aforementioned obvious tasks as well, and a fair amount of recyclable items ready to go out.

nozomichan05 and aichan95 have been both very well-behaved. I was surprised at how much time was used up not in finding a used RSX-S, but in finding one that hadn't been modified all to hell or abused or put on the lot with a "reconstructed" title (which there were a few of).
So, I have over 12k of songs set on "random", got on a KMFDM shirt to get me in that DIY frame of mind, stocked up on Vault, and have thusly turned most of my home into a work zone, which will likely stay that way until I head back to work on the 4th. Or better yet, if I can finish it all.
