Feb. 9th, 2010 09:07 pmWhat with not one but two blizzards in a week, I honestly have to say that it's not the shoveling that bothers me, it's trying to get around in the aftermath of it. And, this weather puts the screws to any immediate plans of getting
aichan95's alternator fixed.
Public Service Announcement: Next time you're shopping for tires, avoid the ones that are labeled "Primewell", even if they are the absolute cheapest thing available. They're ok in the summer, or if you live in near-tropical climates, but they're utter garbage in the winter. It's also something to check when buying a used car.
Got quite a bit of cleaning done over the weekend (after watching anime all Friday), and will probably keep going today and tomorrow with it. Such as it is, I'm not heading to work. I sent an email to my manager effectively saying "see you Thursday" and put in for vacation time as such. The plant was almost deserted last night anyway, and they were trucking snow out of the parking lots in anticipation of what's coming.
So it goes.
