Ah, it cracked already. Somehow I'm not surprised. But it didn't break; in fact it's still quite usable for the time being. I'll check on it in a couple days or so.

I know the little speck of light mentioned in that post was important, but I'm wondering how it all fits in the scheme of things. (I'm sure it's not a heart; those behave in an entirely different manner). Last I checked, the speck is approaching the size of a marble, and just as bright as ever.
