The eagle has landed.
Dec. 1st, 2002 11:22 pmAnd it rocks. Got the Disintegration CD today, on a SUNDAY. Postal truck pulls up, and the postwoman says she tried yesterday but no one was home. On a SUNDAY. Either way, the case of the Search for Disintegration is now officially closed. Took five months, but it was worth it.
Ah, I head back to Baltimore tomorrow. Good weekend, got stuff done. Christmas vacation should be interesting, as I get 19 days off for it. Long story on how that worked out. Something to do with excess amount of vacation time showing up near the end of the year.
I feel strange, different. In a good way. As though I found a useful piece of myself, one among many that got caught up in the clutter from a few years ago. There's still a big glob of mess to clean up, and I know that I'll find a lot of those kinds of parts in there, so it'll be worth the clean up.
Bob-ism: Bob is patient, but will not wait forever.
