::scratches head::

Umm... Not sure what I'm doing here, just somehow stumbled across this and figured I'd stick around for it.

Anyway.

So it's late at night, I'm tired, and I'm considering ditching work tomorrow. Heh, I don't have to go in, no one's expecting me to, it's entirely voluntary. Whee! As opposed to that oppressive tactic of mandatory overtime from my old job. Bah, been out of there for 2 years and I still bark about that place. Anyway, the prospect of sleeping in well past my normal waking time is a tempting prospect indeed.

Enough of that.

Got the soundtrack to the Ghost in the Shell: Standalone Complex, and damn does it rock. The first track strikes me as Yoko Kanno being inspired by Rage Against the Machine, but she doesn't stick to that style the whole way through the cd, which is a good thing.

My socks have somehow worked themselves upside down. Don't ask me how, I don't know. All I know is that they are indeed upside down. Which reminds me, I must wash pants.

For the past week, my knee has felt like it's made of hard rubber.

Tanuki showed me Ringu and then The Ring, so now I've been looking for parody stuff related to it. Horror movies never really affected me, (or my family for that matter, such as my then-6-year old niece watching the end of "Jaws", and walking out of the room disappointedly, saying "But there's one more guy that needs to be eaten.") Instead they serve me as a fountain of parody and humor. Ringu/The Ring is no more sacred. Apparently I'm not the only one.

Know what? Bedtime seems like a good option right now.

Good night.
