Anime I have seen lately, or has crossed my mind for some reason:
"Naruto" which is about a kid named Naruto, who's a ninja in training. Neat show.
"Chobits" is something where I may have seen two episodes of, and stopped because I'm afraid it's going to trigger some bizarre Lolita complex. Are you kidding? Have you SEEN how much Chobits doujinshi is out there? I know Chii is non-organic, but damn. The least her creators could have done was make her... not so... compact? Ok, enough of that rant. Onto another.
"Love Hina" was fun for the first couple episodes, then it irritated me. Was it the artwork? No, the artwork is great. Voice acting? No, they're a pretty talented bunch. Music? Nope, lotsa good music coming from that show. So what is it? I think it has to do with the fact that the characters have absolutely no development and the story goes NOWHERE. So there.
"Macross Zero" I saw one episode of, looks mighty promising.
"Ghost in the Shell: Standalone complex" is some good watching.
"Argentosoma" is something I would consider to be the refried beans of anime. It's edible, yet everything in it's been cooked up before.
"Abenobashi Mahou Shoutengai" is a hoot to watch.. Gainax poking fun, as usual.
"Excel Saga" is something I just recently finished watching. Believe it or not, there's one episode that's almost serious! There's a few jokes and gags thrown in, but most of them are pushed aside for some actual storyline. Then it goes back to being goofy.
There's a bunch of other shows that I've seen, but a lot of the titles escape my memory. Oh well. There's a deep, philosophical entry somewhere up my sleeve, but it can wait. Don't ask what this entry was doing, coming up here at this hour.
