The last five minutes of Scrapped Princess #15 almost made me scream. There is a huge backlog of anime for me to watch, but when the latest episode of Scrapped Princess comes out, I jump on it. Haven't had this kind of fever for any particular show in YEARS. Maybe it's the fact that it's still being first-run aired, knowing while watching it that there isn't the rest of the show sitting nearby, neatly prepared in a handy collection of tapes, dvds, LDs, .avi files, what have you. No, it's just not here yet. Gotta wait a whole week for the next one to come out.
My living room (and every other room in the house for that matter) is still in the formative stages of looking like actual living space, not unlike the birth of the solar system, except without massive balls of gas and dust floating around. But the effect is the same. The larger pieces of furniture are orbiting into their proper positions, as are various other things. Boxes are getting gradually emptied, the refridgerator is slowly filling up with food.
Power tools! That's what I need to get next! As well as a wild bunch of patch cables and such, for assembling my video system.
Got a new lawn mower, so maybe I should use it sometime today.
And if things go well, then cardboard-shrine.com should be happening soon.
