Just so you know, I'm alright. Got into a wreck while driving to work on Tuesday, no injuries, no airbags went off, just broken plastic and crumpled sheet metal. Yamiko-chan's going to be out of commission for awhile, depending on when all the parts ship, but I did manage to drive her home and to the body shop (much to their amazement). After looking at the estimate for the repairs, I have concluded that if I had been driving Ai-chan, it would have been "The End." for her. Ai-chan will be on duty for the next three weeks. So, seeing as how I didn't get a scratch, any well-wishing can (and should) be directed here. I'm ok! Really! Or at least no less than usual.

Meanwhile, I have been tossing around the idea of going to third shift at work. So far the only thing I found that would be impacted by that would be AnimeUSA staff meetings, and they would have to be rather late on Sunday evening to have any impact. Other than that, I can't see anything that would jump out at me, telling me that it would be impossible. In fact, certain conveniences manifest themselves that way. I've done second shift before, and while that was fun, it was also kind of a drag at the same time, especially when I'd still be at work on Friday evening. Better yet, I'll bug for 4-10s on third shift. That would rule. It would also eliminate any further potential problems. So, anyone out there that would know of any show-stoppers to this idea? If not, I'm probably going to go through with it in a couple months.

So far, no return of the mouse. Either it found somewhere else to live, or one of the local cats found an unexpected treat. (Another reason why I didn't want to use poisons initially. The cats don't bother me.) Sounds cruel for the mouse, but odds are that would've happened anyway.

Yeesh, I need to not be so tempted by 700+MB torrent files. This Nadia Omake file is gonna take me days to finish.
