AWA has been a strange and mystical weekend. A 1600 mile long odyssey, bizarre, random, disjointed. Of the past four nights, I slept in my car for three of them. The humidity made that experience slightly less than enjoyable. It was uncertain if I was going to that convention or not, and to some extent, I'm uncertain if I was actually there. And what do I do on my way home from this convention? Go directly into work and put in a full 8 hour shift. I have long ago stopped questioning my sanity, and have instead questioned the very existence of sanity in general.
The surreal nature of the weekend provided more than a couple pieces to my personal puzzle, some of them connecting to each other readily to form a better glimpse of a larger picture, others seemingly from a different puzzle altogether but nevertheless fitting in.
There were a few things that I got, such as the Komugi artbook that came with standees, and the Gao Gao Stegosaurus t-shirt, and the Tsukihime Pinky:St figure, among other things. There was also a bunch of magnets to put on my fridge, as well as another bottle of blackberry sauce that rocks any bowl of ice cream that it happens across (also valid for pancakes and waffles), and finally found a couple bottles of BBQ Sauce From Hell. Yes, that's what it says on the label.
Ok, I'm losing steam. Time for sleep.
