Oct. 29th, 2005 11:28 amThree weeks to go to AnimeUSA, and every weekend until then is being eaten by that convention. It's a lot less of a secret now than 6 months ago, but like I said, I think I'm going to take 2006 off from staffing any conventions, reduce my presence at others, and probably cut a few out altogether. I'll still go to AUSA in 2006, but odds are it would be just as an attendee or low-level, last-minute-help staff at most. I have my reasons.
York Anime Club today! Big news at this meeting! Hell, there's only one of you that reads this that actually goes to the club, and you probably already know what the bulk of the news is about.
In light of upcoming events and whatnot, I am going to need to rent a storage unit, and eventually get my real bed moved in. Yes, I think it'll be possible to get it here without a truck. The details surrounding the circumstances of this event are worthy of their own LJ entry, but someday, just not today.
During the time I've been living on my own, I found that processed white bread lasts at most a week. On the other hand, there's a 12-grain bread that has a shelf life substantially longer. I bought a loaf of it I don't know how long ago. I'm still eating from it. The "fresh until" date lists April of next year. Tastes better, too.
The Pure Snow PV is coming along nicely, just had to tweak the encoding a bit to get it to work. I'll have it available in a few days, when I can be home again for more than a couple hours for something other than sleep.
Right then, off I go.
