A sudden breeze then a glimpse of white!

Shooting towards the top of my to-do list, is an anime marathon! Watching entire series in one sitting! Ah, Gravion.
Anyone remember the anime Kishin Corps? It was one of those anime where the good guys each had a bad guy equivalent, similar enough to the point of confusing me about who was supposed to be on what side.
Thunder and lightning storms are normal during the summer, but highly rare during the winter, and it's a real trip to look out the window and see lightning flashes accompanied with a hearty snowfall. Glad I was at home for all that.
Making a playlist called "Oyasumi Nasai". If I make a CD of it, I won't have it for driving music. It may or may not include Mazzy Star's "Fade Into You", a song that can knock out most insomniacs.
Got my waterbed fully functioning again. Putting it back together wasn't as hard as I feared, then again I originally took it apart with reassembly in mind. Much easier that way. Then after I put in the new liner, I put in the old mattress and after filling it, I noticed that one of the corners was a bit off, so I gave it a tug, heard an unfamiliar and unwelcome snapping noise, and saw some dribbles of water. Ok, the mattress has a couple decades on it, so it was no surprise to me that the plastic had started to become hard and brittle. If I had a bit more forethought, I would have just bought a new one when I got the liner and been done with it. Oh well. I amazed myself at how quickly I could get a water pump hooked up and running to drain the old one. Got the new mattress that day, filled it, heated it up, and now it's 10x harder to get out of bed in the morning. Warm, cozy bed.
Yay more Damekko Doubutsu coming out. Looks like the fansubbers are making a solid push to finish it off. If all goes well, I may have the whole rest of it ready for tomorrow's club meeting. Speaking of which, I might not have as much loot to sell there tomorrow. Pocky and wafer sticks yes, but seeing as how I forgot to pick up a 12-pack of Bawl's this evening, I gotta say "oops". And much of the stuff I want to sell is sitting in storage, and I haven't bothered to sift it out. Oops again.
Phone's fixed now. Folks can go back to calling my home line. Or not.
I am looking for a new scanner. Preferably one that can go up to 11" x 17", but for some mysterious reason, those tend to cost into the thousands. Also preferably, one that isn't Umax. See, they screwed over a lot of people by not providing drivers for their older scanners, so mine will only work with my old G3 PowerBook that's running 9.0.4, and if I upgrade that by any measure, then my scanner will become completely useless to me, unless I shell out $15 for a CD-ROM with drivers for my XP box. I am not playing that game.
Speaking of PowerBooks, my G4 is in dire need of service. It still works, but it's taken a beating, and the display is starting to get ill. It should easily last another day or two, tho.
Many of you long-time readers know that I don't talk about work much, but rest assured I enjoy what I do. The high point of my day at work yesterday was this: Sitting on my rear, while watching someone else work, and earning overtime pay for it.
Alrighty, time to go pick out an episode of Apron of Love to show. But not the 3-hour episodes. Then bedtime.
