(no subject)

This third-shift thing takes some getting used to, and I kinda lament the fact that I'll be back on 1st shift next week. But I also enjoy days when one day melts into the next, waking up whenever (I haven't needed to use my alarm clock all week), and then going into work at some weird hour of the evening. The project that calls for me to do this is technically done, so my fifth day of this is purely ornamental. For that matter, I could probably get away with spinning around on my chair and/or computer games for 8 hours or so. Unless my boss calls me up and tells me to not bother coming in until Monday, something I won't complain about either way.

Got a DVI cable to go from the laptop to the projector! The S-video cable was ok, the VGA adapter was better, but I'm sure the direct DVI connection is gonna look really nice.

Someone needs to explain to me why I'm watching a training video for a Japanese convenience store, even though it does have Yui Horie in it from her early "for the love of God I need work" days.

During my recent grocery shopping trip, I have noticed that the majority of my foods are from either the frozen or refridgerated sections. Yet I am ok with this.

Eep, I need to do some massive data backups again. One series alone is gonna spread across three discs.
