More news.
Oct. 7th, 2006 12:50 amYay the rest of my DVD order came in. So now, near my laptop, I have a stack of DVDs that cost me $100, but would normally have cost me almost 8 times that much. Aw yeah.
Website news: Added in Coppermine, an image gallery. Like with the forum, entirely under my control. As an added bonus, the logins for the forum also work with Coppermine. For the most part, I'll be the primary user of the image gallery, it'll serve as a tool to assist with organization of my pictures from my various adventures. Since I'm still tweaking it in, it'll be another day or so before I post the official link and declare it live.
New anime season means new anime! I'm in the process of harvesting assorted shows, such as the new Kanon, Deathnote, Happiness (IT'S A TRAP), Pumpkin Scissors, Sumomomo Momomo, Crescent Love, and whatever else stumbles into my view. A smorgasbord of anime!
This weekend looks to be variable and uncertain. But not boring, I have enough to keep me busy. Such as working on my bicycle again, particularly in getting the brakes to work. I have to wonder why I'm putting this kind of work into that bike, when I used to hate it when I was much younger. But, when I was much younger, my technical prowess was nothing like what it's become. I think I'm now more than capable of fixing a bicycle. Plus new bikes would like, cost more and stuff, and knowing me, I wouldn't go for the basic one, no. I'd end up getting the one with 27 speeds, disc brakes, shock absorbers, and so on, and it would cost me no less than $500 to take it out the door. So, after routing the signal from Impulse through Ambivalence, the idea of getting a new bike was effectively shot down.
There were some travel plans this weekend, weather permitting. There's also an AUSA staff meeting that I should attend. Which won't really be a meeting, but more about raw production. Those are more fun anyway.
