but that's not all
Mar. 21st, 2007 11:57 pmThe other day I got a 400GB hard drive for just over $100. (For that much, I'm tempted to score another one or two.) Its main purpose will be to replace my 160GB that's been getting flaky. Maybe it developed some bad blocks or something, but it's been consistently at fault for many freeze-ups lately. It's also been in use for over 3 solid years. So, hopefully it will be able to retire gracefully instead of going out with a bang. Files have been copied over; now waiting on verification results. (somewhere over 70k files; this will be an overnight/into next evening thing)
My whole left leg is kinda achy, and I can feel the knee itself twitch like it could pop out of place without warning. Not trusting it at all. Someday I'll have that worked on?
In the "entirely unnecessary" department, Cheeburger-Cheeburger offers a 20-ounce cheeseburger. Those that accomplish the feat of eating the entire thing on-site get their picture taken, which is then pinned to a bulletin board for all in the restaurant to see. My picture is now on that bulletin board, with other luminaires.
The ahoge had to go. I was picking up too many radio and tv stations simultaneously. It's fine when I'm picking up a station with it, acceptable when two stations are coming in as long as I can tune one out, but my hair was bringing in half the FM band.
aichan95 is going in for inspection probably sometime next week. She also needs to update her LJ, the lazy bum.
Ok, that's it for now.
