Some electronics parts have arrived here, and some parts for yamikochan should be here soon as well. With some small projects coming up I need to get a new soldering iron, something that can take smaller tips than the Radio Shack one I have. I mean, I was able to modify Playstations with it back in the day, but the tips were in much better condition (and more readily available) and the parts since then have gotten even smaller. Hooray(?) for surface mount technology.

Also coming up with a way to feed the multiple single external hard drives from one supply instead of juggling them in and out of outlets. It's a surprisingly simple solution that I wish I had thought of before.

Plans for Epic Road Trip are coming closer to reality!

The other eveningAround noon yesterday I dreamt that I went to visit New York City for a leisurely but otherwise unspecified reason. But I didn't drive or fly there. Instead I took the train. This tells me something. Woke up before I got there though. I believe it will be entirely unrelated to Epic Road Trip, though.
