Aug. 10th, 2009 07:34 amWeekend was wasted on things like trying to fix my clothes dryer, which is deciding that it'll work when it wants to. In the middle of a cycle it'll randomly shut off and start up again. After being here for six years, it should have picked up the hint that I'm not afraid to take things apart, so I saw to it that it now has personal experience. Haven't caught it in the act since I pulled it apart and vacuumed all the lint out, so that may have had something to do with it.
Also did some minor cleaning up, such as dishes and laundry and unloading trash and recyclables and mowing the lawn. Still a ways to go. Am likely going to be using the shutdown at work at the end of the year for this task, just like last year, except this time I'll be able to get a head start with using weekends before as well as not have to spend half my time car shopping. And I have a better clue with Christmas shopping. Gift cards or booze for EVERYONE.
KMFDM concert ticket GET! I guess I'm ready? Didn't know of anyone else going so I got just one ticket for myself. History shows that getting tickets with the intention of inviting someone else is a recipe for having extra tickets when it's all said and done.
Got one of those idiot headaches. No, not the kind where I try to think. The kind where my body starts reminding me I didn't have any real food or consistent sleeping pattern. Huh, the sun's up already?
