(no subject)

In my assorted quests and adventures, I recently "discovered" a used bookstore that opened up a couple years ago. To my delight, there was manga. I ended up with 8 books for about $20. Below it is an indie music store with a fairly impressive selection and cheap used CDs, but it had too much of a "head shop" vibe for me. A particular display cabinet had signs saying "for tobacco use only". Riiiiigght. Didn't stick around in there for long, solely because burning incense (more prominently on display) has a tendency to give me a headache.

Snow removal continues here. I still have a few cubic yards worth to push out of the way, but my poor Sno-Easy shovel is wearing out. I guess three blizzards in a row may have been too much for it. It's usable now but if it completely breaks I'll just have to reverse-engineer it and use that knowledge to modify a regular shovel.

aichan95 still needs a new alternator. I've been waiting for the weather to get consistently high enough above freezing before trying this task. If it gets to be too much I'll just bite the bullet and have a mechanic do it, despite knowing that route will cost me a few hundred bucks.

Alright, back into the snow-toilet for me.
