A plot is afoot!
Aug. 16th, 2010 12:41 amOver the past couple years I've thought about hitting up a bunch of Japanese bookstores in NYC before, but I never made serious plans. That said, I've looked at where they are on the map, and I've thought about driving there (on a weekend of course) but the option of taking a train remains viable.
aichan95 is finally home. It's nice to not have a reason to panic when encountering a still-smoldering cigarette butt that someone tossed out the window.
Rainy weekend has been rainy. Not necessarily a bad thing. Gives me a chance to catch up to myself here sometimes. I must have watched about 10 episodes of anime this evening, with more to come.
Due to a mix of events at work making for something of a scheduling "perfect storm" (in a good way), Labor Day weekend will be about 5 days long for me. I expect to put that to good use, rain or shine. I've probably mentioned something about this before, but for me to get into a multi-day cleaning binge (which is mostly shuffling stuff around or putting it away), there are a couple planets that need to align, one of which being that multiple days must be available for this. Fortunately, I've figured out how to get the rest of those planets in place. Get all the drives with music on them together, launch iTunes, set it all to random, and let it play. I've found some pretty good music I didn't know I already had using this method. Granted, the new Blu-ray player has its own internet connection and can get assorted internet radio as well, but the iTunes method is almost guaranteed to be "all killer no filler". Since, well, I put much of the 12000+ songs on there myself.
And for the time being, I'm mixing up some strawberries/blueberries/yogurt/granola. It's an awesome combination and you wish you had some too.
