Dec. 31st, 2010 08:23 amThe cleaning/organization project is not progressing as well as I would like. Unintended things I've taken care of have been watching anime, playing with Lego, and sleeping in late. Which in itself is pretty cool and I'm glad to be able to do that. But beyond that, not much else. I think I've already mined the softer veins of junk that made previous cleanups that much more dramatic. It's at the point where I just simply need less stuff. There's still a lot of things I'd like to keep, and other things, not so much. I'm sorely tempted to rent storage again, just so I can have some semblance of room around here.
So yeah, anime watching. There must be about 7 or 8 shows I was following this past season, and many of them have wrapped up. Got to see the Haruhi movie. It was unusually bittersweet for the franchise, but it was good; I'll have to make it a point to get that when it comes out here. The ending theme summed up the whole movie nicely:

Now, getting back to more lighthearted material (and the topic at hand): Doing laundry, going through some old clothes, culling out the shirts and pants that are too small/worn-out. I found some shirts that are sized Large. It's been no less than 15 years since I was able to wear XL, longer ago for just Large. Also, I counted out about 90 pair of underwear available for use. Ponder on the scale of that. I'm keeping some anime shirts sized XL, not just because I'm hoping that someday I'll lose enough weight to make that possible. For example, my Otakon 95 shirt. And my Animaniacs shirts. They are but too small for me, and threadbare with much use, but they hold a special place in my heart.
And so, I continue to claw through (or at least pretend to), with a playlist that has since swelled to over 16,000 songs and set to Random, then piped through the stereo. Oh yes, and fueled by Mountain Dew Throwback.
Think I'm gonna go back to sleep.
