Well, as far as cleaning goes, the past round was mostly fail. Looks like I'll have to be less choosy about what I get rid of, or more clever about where to put it lazy. I have a box of paper stuffs that I can't simply toss into recycling, not for sentimental value, but because they're from a time when account numbers and social security numbers were printed in full on everything. No wonder there's so much identity theft. I guess if I had to choose between identity theft and having a big box of papers taking up space, then I probably chose wisely. True, the recycling process would naturally and ideally destroy the offending papers, but the gap between throwing it in the dumpster and when it does start the process remains to be a concern.
I've also been pruning my buddy list on AIM. I've gone by the same handle since 1998, so every now and then I'd have to do some trimming (at one point they wouldn't let me add any more to it because I had too many on there). There are a bunch of screennames on there of people who I haven't talked with in forever, either because I haven't had anything to say to them or it's been eons since they've logged on. It's nothing drastic, I haven't culled any of people that still post here or on FB, for example. Some I won't delete, even though I know they'll never log on again.
Other bits of curiosities:
If you're looking for a USB flash drive made in the US, Rocketfish (Best Buy's house brand) will suffice. They're also priced the same as the others. I don't know about the origin of the chips inside them, but it's a start.
I discovered that the plastic lids from Pringles cans fit perfectly on some of my tall drinking glasses. To that end, I used that combo to make chocolate milk by shaking it, not stirring. I also added some Disaronno, and the result is mighty tasty.
aichan95 turns 16 this month.
As mentioned on FB: Underworld's "Cowgirl" makes for fantastic workout music when on the elliptical machine. It's long, hypnotic in its repetitiveness, has a warm-up and cool-down, keeping a strong pace in between.
Anime time? Y.
