Sep. 20th, 2011 08:38 amSummer's winding down, I think we might get one last gasp of summer and that will be it. I predict an average autumn followed by a mellow winter. I have nothing to base this prediction on but my own wishful thinking.
I've been taking lots of pictures with the new camera. Perhaps I should post them (like I intend to). But not at full size (5184x3456). The resulting .jpg files often reach about 10MB in size. That, coupled with enabling the raw image function, eats up card space like mad.
AWA is coming up in two weeks. It's been 6 years since I've been to that one. Usually I go for the road trip aspect of it and the convention itself is secondary.
I've been baking brownies! The recipe on the box calls for 1/4 cup of water, which was ok to start with. Then I used 1/3 cup of milk instead, and that had a desirable effect. But! Since cooking is like science, I'm not done experimenting yet. That said, I also need to get a lab coat.
Not sure if it's that they fixed something on their end, or if it's purely a browser related issue, but I got Crunchyroll to work. Sort of. Usually Firefox works with whatever I throw at it, but for once, IE comes out ahead.
People who know me know I enjoy high-powered, fast-paced denpa. I subscribe to the school of thought that music directly affects mood and thus find denpa to be a potent mood-lifter. ( That said, I shall submit an unusual offering. )
