-I think I brushed up against some poison ivy when pulling weeds in my yard. A couple spots on my arm is all I got though.

-Finished one integrated USB device for [livejournal.com profile] nozomichan05. It works surprisingly well. Another is planned for [livejournal.com profile] aichan95, although I may do that one slightly differently. Instead of having the USB ports mounted right in the open, I might have the whole thing tucked away with extension cords peeking out.

-If Ai's ipod adapter is acting up (again), then I might as well get a whole new radio. Those adapters can only be found these days on ebay, at $70 a pop. For comparison I have a pile of Crutchfield certificates which would be more than enough for a new radio, unless I get one of those fancy navigation units.

-Weirdshift made me gain weight, but at least not in a "back to square one" sense. Just a couple pounds. The contractor I was working with went to restaurants all three days. I'm actually glad to be back to my usual lunches consisting of a couple pieces of fruit and hot tea. Maybe a Clif Bar if I'm feeling extra peckish.

-Which brings me to another point: Dietary sabotage! It seems like everyone is under the impression that if you're doing well with a diet, you can afford to "live a little". Except doing that for everyone all the time results in no progress. At that point one must lay down the law, and issue a royal decree that "I must do without until further notice". Otherwise the next thing you know, you're freebasing bacon. I've done that, and it's not something I'm proud of.

-Another cleanup is needed around here. Since I have a week off coming up this summer, I'm tempted to make use of that for cleaning instead of going on another road trip. Oh, who am I kidding?! Besides, the Wanderbeast is chomping at the bit here.

-A few nights ago I dreamed that I went to a local small-con, and wandered around without a badge. When I finally went to buy one, I inadvertently preregistered for another small-con that was much less local. That said, in reality I had skipped out on yet another local convention, meaning I skipped 6 in the course of 4 weeks. I'm having trouble feeling bad about this. That's how burnout works.

-I now own a Swench 750. Don't know what a Swench is? Short version: It's the Chuck Norris of hand tools. More on this later.

-Getting to be time for a new phone, as per my usual 2 year cycle. Also my current one is acting up and being kinda weird, as per its usual 2 year cycle. I have a short list of phones to choose from.

-My desktop computers are getting a bit old while still serving me. One is something I cobbled together back in '09 from spare and cheap parts, and I'm using it as a server/backup desktop. The main desktop dates back to late '07 and has had a bucket of upgrades done to it since. But I won't be building a new one anytime soon (unless one of them explodes or something). The parts I want to use don't exist yet.
