While doing what I can only call a feeble attempt at cleaning during the last Event, I had iTunes running in the background, letting it pick and choose songs at random. In addition to providing a sense of flow, it's handy in that it also serves as something of an hour-counter.

So! Out of the 9 days I threw at this, iTunes says it was playing music for about... 27 hours, which is a little under 20% of the spare waking time I had available. Disappointing, really. To put that in perspective, that same amount could be theoretically done in a standard 2-day weekend, if at a highly aggressive pace.

Meh.

What makes it even more disappointing is that my motivation has only gone down even more, even though this is a logical part of a long-term goal (that hopefully should bear fruit this year and really should have been done already). Since winter is now fully underway with doing its thing, I don't feel like doing anything, except sleeping and watching anime. And when the weather warms up, I don't feel like hanging around indoors. End result is, the gap between bursts of cleaning is about 11 months long.

Maybe it's this. Maybe it's that. Maybe I need to be less lazy. Maybe I need to let go of things (but judging by the bags of trash and recyclables that went out, I certainly let go). Maybe I'm burned out from the executor thing (oh do I have a pile of words about that).

Meh.
