Jan. 31st, 2016 12:26 amBig Cleanup came and went. It's not so much outright trash getting in the way; that would be easy to take care of. It's the stuff that should be put away but isn't. And then the act of putting the stuff away. Funny thing is, I'm finding that a lot of space was being taken up by empty boxes and plastic tubs. Getting those out of the way helped.
There's not much in the way of initial motivation; there rarely is. Then after a day or two of chipping away, I started to see some actual progress, and that gives me a bit of much-needed encouragement. Playing music in the background is always a help too.
My musical arsenal up to about 44k tracks, with about 2k recently added, sourced from doujin events such as Comiket. I don't feel too bad about downloading those; they usually make a limited run of a few hundred copies and they all sell out in the first couple hours, so downloading ends up being the only way anyone else can hear them.
Nozomi just hit 200k miles. I remember when she had less than 100k.
