At this point you might be asking "you say you have so much stuff but what kind of stuff is it?" Good question. Divided in various proportions between home and the storage unit, here's something resembling an answer.

-Lego. When it comes time to move, the amount of Lego I have will probably justify getting a truck by itself. I am fine with this.
-Model railroad things. This fills several boxes and plastic tubs.
-Anime DVD/BDs. I estimate about 15 cubic feet, not including any tapes.
-Manga and books. Not as much volume as the anime, but formidable in its own right.
-Anime figures and models and statues and such. This also fills more than a few boxes.
-VHS tapes. About 500 of them. According to my calculations, that's a bit over 9 cubic feet. I swear it takes up more than that. Maybe I have a lot more than 500 and I just stopped counting after that? Anyway. As per my previous post, I plan on cutting this down drastically.
-Comic books. 3 or 4 long-boxes, after giving away some of them and getting rid of heavily damaged ones. I have another box that I'll probably sell to a local comic book store.
-Usable spare computer parts. Didja know that plastic ammunition boxes are great for storing loose hard drives?
-Various cables. This is only 3 or 4 plastic tubs worth. I'm surprised it's not more because cables breed with each other and multiply like mice, sometimes cross-breeding. Seriously, how in hell is a serial-to-VGA cable supposed to work?
-In-use computers and accessories. This includes 5 desktops, 4 laptops, 2 Raspberry Pi's, and an Amiga2000. Plus 4 flat-panels and a CRT (that came with the Amiga).
-Home audio/video equipment. Surprisingly, I don't have a big-screen TV. Yet. But I do have an older CRT TV (that works).
-CDs. About 5 cubic feet.
-Hand and power tools. These will become much more important when I have a garage.
-Doujinshi!
-Archived documents. This takes up a few boxes/tubs and is subject to regular review. Each time I go through this, I find something I can get rid of, which is good. There are also documents that I am legally obligated to retain, but I have those down to about 1 cubic foot.
-Home supplies and hardware.

So there you have it. Each by itself doesn't seem like much (except for the Lego), but all combined, they add up to a good bit of mass. What makes it so formidable is the lack of organization. Well, it's better now than before.

Q: "Why so much Lego?"
A: Lego is special to me. It has been a cornerstone of my existence since I was 6 and its presence is non-negotiable. Hence I have no issue with it taking up as much room as it does.
