psipsySpent more time than expected at UMBC's 24-hour anime marathon. Leaving late in the evening eventually turned into still here the next day. When will I depart? I guess when they run out of stuff that's of interest to me. I have consumed more than my share of soft drinks, and as a result, have logged close to 30 minutes in front of a urinal in the course of a day. Watched lots of anime, and downloaded even more. Strawberry wafer sticks, yummy! Haven't been home since I left for work yesterday morning. To quote from Sam & Max, "I've got to stand up. I've been sitting in a nest of graham crackers and jelly for the last three hours."
The best part is, the weekend is only halfway through. I guess I'll keep doing this sort of thing as long as I can get away with it, leaving reality through my own customized doorway. In the meantime, I sit and watch an old AMV, "Just like Heaven" put to Urusei Yatsura. Simple, yet classic. But, regardless of what could be offered in the last few hours, I think now is a good time to bid adieu to UMBC for the time being.
Besides, I can do this again next weekend.
