psipsyWoke up this morning, which is inherently a good thing to do at all, but decided that I would have rather gone back to bed and slept for another 152 hours. But I didn't. Instead I went to work. And while at work, for reasons completely unknown to me, I felt like I was suddenly enveloped in something that was half cactus, half poison ivy. But I resisted the urge to scratch like crazy, so that odd sensation lasted only a couple minutes.
I suppose this could make any casual computer user feel somewhat uncomfortable. There are a few for Mac as well, but nowhere near as many. If you're familiar with the Troubled Windows interactive flash movie (which is linked from that site, and weighs a hefty 7.5M; heads up for those on dialup) you'll know what I'm talking about. I'm really not going to complain or criticize about this, nor am I in a position to. If the song from the Troubled Windows flash thing tickles your fancy, I do have it here. There goes another 6.3M.
La de da. Konomini #10 coming down the line, on the home stretch. Or I could just bail on it now and attempt to hit up Long John Silver's. Eh, I'll give it a few more minutes. Since I'm saving this for a marathon session, I haven't watched anything past the first episode, so I hear that the plot kicks in around the end of episode 8. Typical Gainax. They did the same thing with the second season of Mahoromatic, which is goof off for most of the series and then suddenly get down to business. That's ok once in awhile, but I hope they don't overdo it.
