Otakon 2004. It came and went like a large cloud, appearing on the horizon, bringing a storm, and vanishing over the horizon.

Both of my main objectives, the Under17 DVD and Koge Donbo signing my Pita Ten book, have been met. I'm quite pleased with myself about that.

I bought some stuff there, including a small stack of doujinshi for a reasonable price. Thank you kittystirfry. Then there's also the Under17 DVD and the Domo-kun t-shirt.

The Cardboard-Shrine website and all appropriate emails are now functioning again!

There were several shows licensed at Otakon, and while nowhere near the free-for-all that was at Anime Expo, it was still a significant amount. A good portion of them were shows that had already been completed long ago by either myself or others I know. The only one that I was really going after that isn't complete was the Cossette OVAs. Just one more to go... Oh well, time to turn to the shadowsubbers for the last one if/when that does come out. But Pita Ten STILL remains unlicensed. Dammit.

My head feels like someone used it to jackhammer through granite.

I do NOT understand why that isn't licensed. It is such a good series, it should have been licensed so very long ago.

BTW: Did you go to Koge Donbo's panel? It was quite nice. Questions were sort of randomish, but it was nice nonetheless.

I got into the panel at the tail end of it. I wanted to go there for the whole thing, but I had taken a nap and overslept. Oh well.
