Oct. 25th, 2004 10:55 pmLess than a week to AnimeUSA! This year's AUSA looks to be particularly insane, due to an error on the hotel's part. But I'm not scared. Or should I be?
York Anime club went alright, there were a couple new faces, but I don't know if they'll come back next month. While there, I had a craving for some Dew, so instead of putting money into the vending machines for a small bottle, I figured on just getting a 2-liter and being done with it. So I went to get one. The buying experience was creepy. All of the other store patrons looked like their faces were melting off, or collapsing, imploding even, as they shuffled slowly along, and a strange odor permeated the air. Sensing the same fate may befall me if I lingered too long there, I hastened my transaction thanks to the self-checkout lanes that the others were afraid to use for some reason. I do not want to go to that Wal-Mart again.
Hm, the latest batch of licensed anime had some surprises, but nothing really earth-shaking. The only three that are remotely a concern to me are Gakkou no Kaidan (was downloading at a leisurely pace) Five Star Stories (already have it on tape somewhere) and Papuwa (grabbed one episode and decided it wasn't my thing). I wasted no time in getting #14 of G-on Riders before that gets licensed too. I sense that one is imminent, even though it's been out for awhile.
Ahhh let's see what can I throw at ya this time how about this? Yeah, that should do.
aichan95 also has something you might want to check out, to celebrate 240,000 miles (of which, I personally accounted for 200,000). If she can survive to 250,000 miles, that may constitute enough reason for a party.
Today was different. Mostly because I wasn't at any hotspots all day, because I was enjoying the usage of my new CABLE MODEM AND WIFI ROUTER (and I set it up so neighbors don't end up with free wireless internet). So yeah. That's right, it's exactly what you think it means.
How about that! I'm tired, there's some anime I'm downloading, but I'm already at home! Isn't technology wonderful?
