Mar. 15th, 2005 05:04 amThis past weekend was productive, helped a bit with some moving, and on Sunday finally replaced the power antenna on Ai-chan, which had been stuck for some time now. That was a bit of a pain, because parts advertised as "universal" sometimes aren't. It beat paying five times as much for one from the dealer. But, I continue to do these sorts of things, because there is a sense of zen associated with it.
Today wasn't so good. Lunch simply did not agree with me. Feeling full shortly after eating is ok, but 11 hours later? That's not a good sign. At least I feel better now.
The upcoming anime "Emma" appears to be worth my attention, being another maid-based anime. BUT! with no fanservice or hentai! That might actually be a refreshing change of pace. Fanservice duty will likely fall onto the shoulders of Kore ga Watashi no Goshujin-sama, which is from Gainax. 'Nuff said. I'm gonna end up watching both.
Speaking of Gainax, I finally got around to watching the rest of Kono Minikuku Mo Utsukushii Sekai. The ending was rather definite so it looks like a second series is highly unlikely.
Y'know, for awhile I thought that Miyamura Yuko had retired, until I saw her name pop up in the credits for Mai Hime. Apparently she took some time off to have a child. I haven't been able to parse her daughter's name from her website tho.
I leave you now with a bit of advice of some capacity: When under East Heaven, a stray angel should beware the friendly stranger.
