Jul. 20th, 2005 01:05 amOver the past week, I got a bunch of gift cards, which I swiftly used for buying tons of anime DVDs. I now own all of "Gravion" and "Gravion Zwei", and there is nothing that anyone can do about it. I have no shame. Then I went and rented "Najica: Blitz Tactics". Rented. I'm watching it now, and in fact watching the dub version. I figure why not, because it's impossible for anyone to mis-translate panty shots. The first episode had panty shots, maids, guns, and combinations of all three. With that in mind, this show could be dubbed in Swahili and that wouldn't make a damn bit of difference. I'll finish watching this disc, and more than likely rent the others. I forgot the subtle joys of renting instead of buying, where I only have to spend a couple bucks, and after watching it I don't have to worry about where to keep it. I'll probably rent "Grenadier" eventually.
This coming weekend, hm. AnimeUSA staff meeting? Nah, not for a couple more weeks. Anime club meetings? Nope. Convention? Otakon's not until next month. Cool, an open weekend for a change! I shall hereby declare that both Saturday and Sunday will be Bob-days. If the weather is good, I will be doing another trip to Skyline Drive.
It's finally complete, for all sakes and purposes. Just as "Tsubasa: Bonus Mission GO!" was different than usual, being much happier and more carefree, "Tsubasa 6: Beyond the Twilight" is different from the others, but in an entirely different direction. It's the darkest one yet, but no less awesome. It is more of a mystery. Doubt, fear, ending with uncertainty. Or does it? The dawn sheds light on all. Or something like that.
There was other stuff I wanted to talk about, but eh, maybe not.
