Feb. 7th, 2006 11:42 pmYay, I finished watching all of Gravion and Gravion Zwei. It was surprisingly easy to watch, averaging about 8 episodes a day, limited purely by needing to go to bed at a decent hour. Otherwise I could have literally finished it off in a day. But you're probably wondering how or why. Well, it's got big robots, fanservice, things that go boom, and oodles of maids for the robots' support staff. And Momoi Haruko. Oh yeah, and fanservice. I had a hunch I would like this, and I was right. Granted, the Super Bowl would have been a more intellectually stimulating alternative, but the Super Bowl didn't have what Gravion has. So there. One thing that surprised me about Gravion is that it also has a better ending than what most anime series offer. Instead of ending vague, it does its thing, explains itself (a cheesy explanation is better than none), then goes on its merry way. Beavis and Butthead said it best when they said, "that was cool".
Tomorrow I go to a workplace-sponsored seminar on ADHD. Provided I can drag myself away from whatever I'll be doing and remember to go.
The PC is gearing up, I still have a few mods yet to do like a new DVD burner and acquire another hard drive for it. In the meantime, I have equipped it with a program that will enable it to read the Mac formatted external drives. Yay! Also, I really must disable AIM's auto-login feature on it, something I found out the other night when my laptop took a crap and I switched over to the PC to continue my activities. AIM is much easier to tame on the Mac, and to be honest, if I were starting out with chat programs, I wouldn't bother with it. But that's where most of my online friends hang out, so that's what I use. Anyway. The lengths I go to in order to play dirty video games.
Yay, new episode of Magikano came out, so off to bed while that downloads.
