May. 15th, 2006 12:01 amOk, I'm sitting in the living room watching the latest episode of Haruhi on my laptop, and generally basking in its glory.
Sarah: "What's this show about?"
Me: "It's about a crazy girl named Haruhi, who does whatever she wants."
Sarah: "So it's about a female version of you?"
Me: "........"
I really couldn't argue or contradict that.
Now, if you would please, imagine the most over-the-top B-grade horror movie about zombies, turned into a manga. The result would be something close to "Reiko the Zombie Shop". It's violent, bloody, and borderline senseless. I was about to pass it by, but picked it up at
Command decision time! Should I go to:
Animazement?
Anime North?
Balticon?
None of the above and just stay home and watch hentai anime about maids all weekend?
C'mon, throw me a bone here.
Oh screw it, y'all know me well enough that I'm just going to pick one at random and go with that, oblivious to suggestions and recommendations and pleas. But any and all input really is genuinely appreciated.
While I was thinking deeply a few days ago, I was on the verge of a philosophical breakthrough, but then suddenly a sock puppet comes out of nowhere and declares "HI MY NAME IS MELVIN". Bugger always shows up at random like that.
