what what what
Jun. 26th, 2006 11:06 pmNothing new to report on, as nothing's really changed except for the fact that now
yamikochan is back home. Initially it was thought that she needed a new ECU (something I couldn't easily replace on my own), but it turned out to be the throttlebody (which I could handle on my own). Both got replaced anyway, but just for the cost of the ECU. So now I have her old one, which is still functional and probably still perfectly fine. Somehow I feel like I came out ahead.
So yeah, the TL was a helluva nice car, but it was possibly too nice (good thing they didn't loan me an RL). Or it might have been I wasn't used to it. Then again I put over 300 miles on it while I had it. But I was glad to be back behind the wheel of something I was used to, something with a manual transmission.
Didn't feel like going to work today. So I didn't go, calling in sick instead. That's what it's there for. But, I will go tomorrow.
Adventures in PC-land are far from finished, as it doesn't get far before it goes BSOD. The flavor of the week in errors lately is "bad_pool_header", so a lot of leads point to digging around in the drivers. Which is reasonable.
Most importantly, is that it's now time for bed.
