Mar. 14th, 2007 10:48 pmLately I cleaned out some stuff, most of it was in storage. It's not that I intended to keep empty boxes, it was more like a fast and easy "quick, shove it out of the way somewhere" kinda deal. Since Sunday was the first decent day of 2007, I felt inclined to prepare some of the stuff for its final destination. I am far, far from done. I have some recyclable materials such as bottles and cans, but the local recycling happens in a four hour window per month, during hours that are typically unavailable to me. Doing the right thing is kinda hard that way, y'know? Anyway, I'm going through a goodly number of large bags for this process. But that's ok.
On Saturday I experimented with home-made hamburgers! A pound of lean beef later, the experiments proved successful. Not quite an unfilmed episode of "Apron of Love", thankfully.
The meido sub-site is somewhat operational (link works, basic gallery in place) but I wouldn't declare it ready for prime time and taking contributions.
Going through my iTunes library, I'm (re)discovering some good music. It's not the first time that happened, where I'm paging through, find something unfamiliar, listen to it, and think "woah, I had this all along and didn't know?" Such as the current music. It's been sitting on an external hard drive for three years with a play count of 0, which I have now decided is entirely too low for this song.
I should get myself a Wii. Dunno when that'll happen, though.
My sleep schedule got smacked into "random" mode over the weekend but overtime at work has been smoothing that out. I now have just enough mental battery power to finish up this entry (and my beer), queue up some torrents, and stumble my way to bed cuz the roast turkey I had for lunch is catching up to me hard.

Date: 2007-03-15 01:32 pm (UTC)And I do that with our Itunes all the time. We have well over a day of music on the thing, and even more to add to it (we've downloaded some of our cds on there, but there are over 100 cds not uploaded, and some of them will probably never be)...

Date: 2007-03-15 11:58 pm (UTC)A day? Mine's approaching a month of nonstop play. Then again, it took almost 7 years to get that far.
