DO WANT. But the shipping costs as much as the item itself.

My XP box is being weird. Sound is messed up, and takes longer than usual to do anything. Went through the usual, virus/adware scans, registry cleanings, defrags, trimming the startup items, no change. But Memtest86 is producing some interesting results, so I'm on that lead. Will post more as the situation develops.

Y'know the whole thing about how we shouldn't toss old rechargeable batteries into normal trash? Well, my workplace is stepping the right foot forward by launching a recycling effort. They have collection boxes near the entrances, so employees can drop off old rechargeable batteries that they have lying around. Then the items are put in with other Universal/Recyclable Waste that my company generates, and that's that. So a few days ago I'm thinking that I could use a spare battery for my cellphone. Guess where I started! Found one that matched mine, and it even had a full charge on it. Whether it holds the charge remains to be seen.

Squirrels must be drag-racing on the roof again. I need to get outside sometime today. And do dishes. And cook dinner. Maybe in that order.

Welcome back!

Wondered where you were!

Did you read the two paragraphs at the bottom of your cut? Wonderful! It's such fun trying to figure out exactly what the writer intended when the translation gets to the cryptic stage.

THat is part of the charm of LiveJournal. The moments we all have that seem like blog posts from the characters of Lucky Star.

doing dishes is for women. What you do is, buy a big industrial bag of paper plates. Cooking dinner is fine, as long as it's jsut for you and does not contain anything like "rosemary".
