Goal for spring/summer: Clean out storage by consolidating/tossing/selling/giving away crap that I've been keeping for the past umpteen years for no good reason, and then ultimately closing out the storage account altogether. Most people don't really think too much about that and just go and do it, but for who I am, that's a highly ambitious project. For example, there are about 4-5 long boxes of comic books that I'd like to keep, and another 4-5 boxes that I've decided I just don't really need anymore, and an old bicycle that I tried fixing the brakes on but never could get that to work.

Full set of new pads and rotors ordered for [livejournal.com profile] yamikochan. They should arrive in time for her birthday. There may be some additional supplies that I'll need to get for this endeavor, including some metric taps.

I now have about a solid week's worth of trance techno music. This will come in handy later on.

I'm in the process of starting to clean my storage unit out. It's a daunting task. And as a pack rat, I really don't want to get rid of a lot of stuff. But honestly, if I haven't needed it for two years, is it really that important? The truth...no.

Good luck on that project!

Some people have their own limits for how long to keep something. I've heard it as low as a few months, others let it go for a few years. Meanwhile I look at the model railroad stuff that I've had since my own personal dawn of time, and say "The day when you return to glory shall come soon."

What makes it all the more mind-boggling to me is how I rented a 10x15 and I'm using a bit less than half of it.
