Sometimes I'll look at someone's LJ that hasn't been updated in quite awhile. For example, studiodorobo, who's forsaken LJ and has since moved over to MySpace. Or sarahstalcup who hasn't updated since May, but to say that I'm highly familiar with where she lives would be an understatement. People get distracted and lose interest in things. It happens.

Then I go to check on yukinoitazuchi, whose entries were becoming more and more sporadic. After some searching with her real name that she had put in an entry, I find this:

That was over two months ago. We weren't close, just enough to be friends on here, but I wish I knew sooner.

Yeah, I actually checked a bit recently too, and knowing there was nothing from her the past few weeks, I feared the worst.

It's awful to go out like that in the first place; I don't wish that on anyone. Fading away just makes it more sad.
