Ok, so this was about 7 years ago, and my sister and Eric and I and a bunch of friends went down to see a midnight showing of Rocky Horror Picture Show, and on the way back, I was driving the big go-to-hell brown/rust station wagon, hauling ass back home on I-70 at 3 in the morning, when someone pulls up alongside and starts shouting "Show us your tits!"

I think I eventually ran them off the road or something? All I know is that they stopped keeping up after a couple miles...

I was passed out in the back of the wagon. Probably from all the pain that i was in at the time, that or the pain killers. But damn, we sure did have fun.

Yeah, and on one of those trips, is when we found the Ultimate Toy and Hobby store. Remember that?

Yes i do remember that store. It was the frist time we found a store that sold anime releated stuff, and junk, and stuff. It was great. does it even exisist anymore? It was in the Towson mall wasn't it?

Sad to say, but that store fizzled out less than a year after we found it. I remember the guy that ran it, he was selling the remainder of his goods in the dealers room at Otakon '96. Not sure what's even left in that place, I think even the Borders that was in there has either closed doors or moved on.

I'll explore that again, now that I'm close and curious.

Checked out that place tonight, just for the sake of it. Borders is still there after all, and while they have more of an anime selelction than they used to, it still lags behind everyone else. But it's a BOOKstore after all, and among the better Borders I've seen. Bunch of empty stores in the rest of the place, though.
