Yay, Katsucon. Except there's no point in me keeping my hotel reservation now since anyone that was going to be in the room bailed. No problem, I can deal with that. I've been commuting to this since 2005. It's a little different this year, what with their maid cafe and musical guests I can actually be interested in, but the room situation is only a minor detail. But honestly? Sometimes it's nice to be able to hog an entire room to myself, just because I can. Y'know, things like sprawling out all over the bed, leaving my stuff whereever, walking around the room naked, and using all the towels for one shower. That sort of thing. The last time I did that was in 2006. Nah, I'll save that for another convention.

Caught a mouse or two the other day. I knew there was one running around, so I got another live-trap (can't find the one I used before) and ejected its furry butt outside. Reset the trap, and a few hours later it closed again. Either there were two mice, or just one that decided this was a great way to stuff itself on peanut butter. Both times I looked inside the trap to see the critter ate so much it fell asleep.

Watched the movie "Death Race" which had a lot of B-grade violence bordering on cartoonish, but at it's heart it was a B-grade buddy film for Insane Clown Posse. That's about all I can say.

Hm, nothing wrong with it inherently. I don't whenever sharing the room for the sanity of whoever is in the room with me.
