Yay, got around to doing pre-reg for Otakon. There shan't be a repeat of last year, when I put it off and put it off and then suddenly I had to do the badge pickup Friday afternoon instead of on Thursday like I usually did. The line on Thursday can be just as long, but the trick to that is not getting there as soon as they open or before. I've taken to waiting until about an hour or so before they close, and then there's practically no line, or not much of one.

I personally have long since run away from GSF#4, knowing fully that if all of my friends were in one place at the same time there would be bloodshed within minutes, and the event would likely be covered on CNN the same day.
