Lemme get this straight....

So, if I go to a general news website that uses my IP address to determine what news would be "local" for me, I end up with news from the Pittsburgh area because my ISP is based in that area.

But then!

I could go to a shady site that has shady ads for shady dating/hookup services, the kind that say "meet a girl in _____", and those are able to pinpoint what town I'm in perfectly.

Brrr.
