psipsyWeekend as a whole was a bit of a bust. Got to the AUSA meeting late, covering the last bit of it. At least I was able to drop off the trophies and pick up some con fliers. The Skyline idea was shot because I-66 heading out from the DC area sucks balls at any hour, and I wasn't running on much sleep to begin with.
The Card & Comic show was kinda fail. I got there around 2:30, nobody was staffing the main entrance so I walked in. Many of the vendors (maybe 10 of them) were already packing up to leave. The obligatory Bootleg Dude had evolved, and was now selling bootleg DVDs of assorted old TV shows (that I could download off the internet). The geekosterone was weak there. It's sad; I seem to remember these events offering so much more in the past. Fifteen minutes later I walked out empty-handed, and got lunch at Wegmans. Went home from there.
